Philosophy - We want you to feel confident you made a good decision to buy a product from Old Creel. Integrity at all times.
That means you will get direct answers to questions and be encouraged to ask questions until you are satisfied. If we don’t know we will tell you. Product - Selection is critical. At Old Creel you will see the differences between models and colours and sit in the boats to test fit and feel. To this end we carry the largest selection of Kayaks and Canoes in Atlantic Canada. We can usually provide you with model and colour selection options. If not we can get them. Additionally we allow you demo paddle from our location if you prefer.
Suppliers - Old Creel views suppliers as strategic partners. We make an effort to limit the number of suppliers in order to be consistent in presentation, supply and follow up service of quality products . We have been fortunate that to date we have found suppliers that share our philosophy in Canada and we can source most of our kayaks, canoes and accessories close to home. Manufacturer’s like Boreal Design located in St. Augustine Quebec Boreal Mission and Nova Craft of London Ontario About Nova Craft are world class manufacturers who compete and win in Canada and internationally. Their products are outstanding in quality and they back up what they say. Both companies add models, improve existing products every year while consistently meeting the demands of even the most discerning paddlers for quality and performance.

Allan purchased Old Creel in Jan 2004. After 25 years in the technology industry it was time to do something different. Allan grew up in Waverley, NS. Allan was a competitive kayak paddler at the Cheema Club from it’s inception until he graduated from Dalhousie University. After graduating from Dalhousie University “a long time ago” he persued his career in Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto. Allan returned to Nova Scotia in 1997 to give his two boys an opportunity to grow up enjoying the amazing natural assets and quality of life of our great province. Allan believes that if you help people make informed decisions about product purchases they will appreciate your efforts and be a long term satisfied customer. Allan wants Old Creel to provide consumers with top quality products from predominately Canadian suppliers. Allan believes that “Canadians” are world class manufacturers of Kayaks, Canoes and Accessories.
Danny is an experienced all around outdoors person, consummate family man and a high energy service oriented individual. Danny can help you with just about every aspect of you outdoor persuits. He does it all..... and a lot. Kayak, canoe, surf, ski, snow board, mountain bike, “you name it”. Danny is a great guy to consult regarding how you do all these things while including and encouraging all family members to participate. Danny practices what he preaches and is an outstanding service peronality that will do whatever it takes to help you find the right products to meet your paddling and outdoor recreation objectives.
