The Haida is the “big brother” of our Tripper model. It shares all the same handling characteristics of the 16 foot canoe but it’s a bit wider and a bit longer. That gives it extra carrying capacity without changing speed or handling. The classic lines of the Tripper hide the modern innovations incorporated into the hull design. While it still looks like a traditional canoe from every angle, it has an asymmetrical hull that improves speed. The rocker is mostly straight along the keel and raising noticeably just at the ends.
