The second collaboration between Danish designer Jesper Kromann-Andersen and Current Designs brings the Sisu. Slightly wider and shorter than its predecessor the Prana, the Sisu is more nimble and maneuverable as well. The Sisu excels in rock gardens, tide races, wave faces and tours with ease. This exciting kayak is also extremely user friendly for aspiring paddlers to rapidly develop skills and elevate performance. Available in fiberglass and Kevlar composite constructions with exceptional outfitting throughout. Also available in a LV (low volume) configuration with a reduced depth of 3/4". It has a maximum load of 400 lbs.

Symmetrical Form: Symmetrical form is just as it sounds. The shape is identical fore and aft from the center point of the kayak.

Hard Chine: A hard chine kayak has a well defined edge where the hull bottom meets the sides. This increases the initial stability greatly. Hard chines give defined edging angles and assist in holding an edge.

Shallow V: The “V” shape improves tracking, has a lively feel and delivers very comfortable stability.

Keyhole Cockpit: A keyhole cockpit blends the openness of a recreational cockpit and the integrated thigh braces of a touring cockpit. The result is an easy to enter and exit cockpit that offers performance, fit, and solid connectivity to the kayak.

The Vision 135 roto offers the same great qualities, details, and outfitting of all our Vision models, in a short and manageable rotomolded kayak. A very user friendly kayak with near limitless potential, the Vision 135 is a fun little boat with a reasonable price tag. Old Creel always adds the rudder to increase tracking and maneuverability.

Swede Form: Widest behind the cockpit, Swede form has a cleaner, longer, and more slender entry, giving efficient touring speeds and maneuverability. In shorter lengths these kayaks are very responsive. Longer kayaks with this feature have amazing acceleration and track well. Because of the narrow bow they may punch through a steep wave, rather than ride over it.

Soft Chine: A smooth transition from the bottom of the hull to the sides. Soft chines give smooth edging at unlimited angles. The majority of kayaks that we build have a soft chine.
